How To Style a Blanket Scarf

As you know, when the weather turns chilly most of us are pulling out our blanket scarves - in every variety imaginable. I even did a round-up for you this week in case you're looking for more! I always get questions (or see readers asking other bloggers) for a "how to" on wearing this "it" accessory. Admittedly, the blanket scarf can be a bit intimidating. Today, I'm sharing three super easy styles that will hopefully make your life easier and relieve the "I really want one of these but I don't know how to wear it" fear.

Don't be afraid! I'm gonna show you how to own this!

STEP 1: Fold the scarf diagonally from corner to corner. Then loosely roll it. Leave a short triangle of fabric unrolled at the bottom just like I've done above.

STEP 2: Put the triangle in the front and cross the ends behind your head. Bring the ends around to the front to create a loop around your neck.

STEP 3: Play with it a bit until the shape and placement is exactly how you want it.

STEP 2: Roll it all the way up until it looks like this. Then, loop it around your neck from the front.

STEP 3: Bring the ends around to the front and pull it close to your neck. Wearing it this way is so warm!

STEP 4: Tie the ends.

STEP 2: Just like in the first tutorial, loop it around your neck. For this way, though, I like to let it hang a little bit looser around my neck.

STEP 3: Grab your favorite pin or brooch to make it a little bit fancy. I pinned on of the ends to the loop in the middle to make it secure and not "floppy."
