Behind the Scenes: New Bauble

(The Lilly Pulitzer Goodie Goodie Necklace)

When something is meant to be, it will find a way of making into your jewelry box and this necklace from Lilly Pulitzer is definitely worthy of its own post. I had my eye on it when I visited the Lilly store on Madison Ave. on my recent trip to NYC. But considering Lilly was our last stop and I had already purchased this (and a few other goodies) - I passed on it. Fast forward a few days and I'm back in D.C. The Lilly Pulitzer at Tyson's Corner was celebrating a grand opening weekend, and I told Lauren that we had to go there on Sunday before I headed back home. Sunday came and we both woke up with a violent stomach virus. Necklace - strike two. Thankfully when my mom and I went to Charlotte a couple weeks ago the Lilly store at the South Park Mall didn't let me down. Well, it almost did because they had to take that one off a display - but regardless, it's now mine!

Moral of the story: If there's an item that you simply can't get out of your head and you make several attempts to purchase it, trust me, it's meant to be :)

I love it when a purchase has a good story, makes you think about it every time you wear it! :) I love the little pink and green details on each side of the pearls. Super cute! :)
