I didn't shop a lot in 2019. I only wanted to buy items that I really loved and knew that I wouldn't tire of quickly. Today I'm sharing the items that top the list!
In today's post I'm sharing my favorite purchases from last year. These are items that I found myself continuously loving (my computer case) or reaching for time and time again to wear (the pearl hoops). I've mentioned before that I live in a tiny, cottage-style house. The storage space I have is limited and there's not a lot of extra space for stuff. Living small has made me a more conscious consumer, but it's also trained me to purge regularly and only buy things I love. I'm continuing that approach into this new decade. It's really helping me curate a closet of items that are versatile, stylish and I truly love.

These are hands-down my most worn accessory of 2019. I didn't realize when I picked these up at H&M (maybe on sale? I can't remember!) that I would wear them so often! Such a great purchase!

Once these arrived, I was so surprised how much I used them. As someone who spends most of her day in front of a computer, these were a lifesaver!

3. MATTE SEQUIN TOP from ALTAR'D STATE
I picked up this top last year on clearance at Altar'd State and it ended up making it onto this list without question. I wore it to see Kacey Musgraves at the Ryman (pictured above).

Round straw bags were everywhere last summer (and the summer before, honestly). This was such an unexpected cheap find ($16) that I couldn't pass it up - I also bought it in solid black.

5. HEART-SHAPED SUNGLASSES from AMAZON

Two years running these glasses have been a favorite. I bought them in 2018 in white and 2019 I added black to my collection.

I found these sterling silver rings at a shop in the Outer Banks and had no idea how much wear they would get. The thinner one is on my finger every single day.

Aerie brought back their oversized sweatshirt this year with some updates - more prints and high slits on the sides. It actually sold out a couple of times before I got my hands on it!

Last year is the first time I shopped at Torrid, and their swimwear did not disappoint. These two were exactly what I was wanting in a high-waisted suit!

I hope you enjoyed this run-down of my favorite purchases! I encourage you to be a more conscious consumer this year - even buy secondhand! I love shopping Poshmark and Ebay for items I want. It truly makes the shopping experience more fun for me.
