Weekend Photo Diary // Vol. 8

Hi, friends! I missed sharing my weekend photos with y'all last week because, unfortunately, the only thing happening was me going to urgent care for a round of antibiotics to treat one helluva sinus infection. I'm happy to be back at work today and feeling the most like myself that I've felt in over a week. I have come to love sharing these little glimpses into my weekends with you guys over the last couple of months. I wasn't sure that it would be something that I stuck with when I first dreamt up the idea - but you never can tell about those things until you just give it a go and here we are at week eight!

This week on the blog I'm going to be sharing my updated everyday beauty routine (complete with products and application tips), I'm going to give you guys a glimpse at my bedroom and share some tricks for maximizing those small spaces, and I'm going to be doing an as-seen-on-instagram outfit round-up. Yay for a new (healthy) week ahead! xo

Since I finally started feeling better this weekend, I decided to indulge in a couple of new skin care products that I picked up at Ulta recently. The Body Shop Vitamin C Microdermabrasion Exfoliator is incredible. It's very fine and warms on your skin like most microderm. products. The vitamin C component left my skin glowing and it felt unbelievably smooth. I highly recommend! (You can get it on The Body Shop site for $14 right now!)

These eye patches from Tony Moly were also a hit. They feel so cool and refreshing on your eyes - and it forces you to relax because you can't see to do anything. Bonus! I didn't notice that my dark circles were lightened but the skin around my eyes felt really moisturized and brightened.

Finally, I've been using the Tony Moly Magic Food Banana Sleep Mask for several months and had just failed to talk about it here. If you like banana scent this will be great for you. If not, you should probably steer clear because this is ba-nan-a. This mask leaves my skin feeling so moisturized and soft. I love the feeling of literally having to wash it off in the morning. When I wake up my skin feels a little tacky to the touch - which is oddly satisfying.

I wanted to shoot an outfit photo outside yesterday but it was raining when I got home (boo!). The whole point is to show y'all these floral embroidered hem jeans I picked up recently at Versona. Aren't they adorable?! I'm usually not a jeans-in-the-summer kind of girl but these were too good not to pull out yesterday for church!

Other outfit details: My top is an old favorite from My Kind of Lovely // My sandals are the Nicola style from Jack Rogers (they really need to bring this style back!) // Necklace is old Kendra Scott

We had rain on and off here all weekend and after Saturday evening's storm, this sky happened. God's canvas.
