Inspired by Bunheads

I am in love with the new ABC Family series Bunheads. Have you been watching? I was a dancer up until age eight and it's one thing I regret giving up so badly. I've always admired dancer style - the flowy skirts over tights, classic black leotards, and those beautiful pastel, pink shoes. I'm always inspired by unexpected pieces in fashion - why not wear a leotard as a top and go straight from practice to an evening out?!

(Or simply pretend you're a dancer and do it anyway!)

Practice: Leotard // Tutu // Tights // Pointe Shoes // Bow // Earrings

I've regretted giving up dance too. I haven't watched Bunheads yet, but it sounds great. Lovely picture and cute outfit!

The cutest, I absolutely love this. SO wish I could have been a dancer.... well or a gymnast! :) GUess I'll have to settle for dance moves around my bedroom, haha.

I too took ballet when I was younger but chose to continue on with tennis instead. I still find myself intrigued with the graceful sport and always love going to the Nutcracker in December. Happy Monday!

Ooh, I haven't been able to see Bunheads yet but I want to...I need more time in my day...def. plan on catching up on Hulu. I did dance when I was very little...I kind of wish I had never given it up now. I do so love how graceful dancers are. :)

I watched the first episode and it was cute! I am loving The Breaking Pointe too... it is a new reality show about ballet!

I do dance classes as my workout and it is so great! I had an hour and a half of ballet tonight and my butt is already feeling it! I agree that the style is wonderful... I always wish I could buy a million leotards and skirts!!
