Posts like this always feel like a diary entry to me. And being the devoted millennial that I am, I have no problem admitting how much I love that. If I'm being honest, my blog feels very much like a diary anymore. The blogging hey-day has come and gone so readership isn't as high, and when I decide to post things anymore, it definitely feels like I'm doing it just for me. THE ERAS TOUR
Did we have any doubts this would be at the top of the list for 2023?! I was so fortunate to attend the tour twice - Atlanta and Nashville - with my dearest people. It was two of the greatest nights of my life.
NEW YORK CITY
I just shared my NYC travel guide so it comes as no surprise this trip is on my list. I love how spur of the moment it was and all the things my cousin and I packed into just a few days. The saying "New York or nowhere" really makes sense to me.
AERIE LUMBERJANE BUTTONDOWN
I own about (checks closet) 5 of these shirts. They are so cozy and comfy and overall one of my favorite styles from Aerie. (shop them here)
STONEY CLOVER LANE
One of my favorite brands ever! I love the ability to customize *literally* everything and make it uniquely you. I think the sister duo who founded the brand are great humans and I love supporting badass women.
MANICURES
I'm fairly certain this could make my list of favorites every year. Manicures are one of life's little pleasures and self care moments that I cherish.
GILMORE GIRLS
Forever and ever my comfort show! This show and the characters within are so familiar to me now they feel like family and friends. There's nothing an anxious person needs more than a show that feels like a hug.
NOSTALGIA/GIRLHOOD
Pink! Bows! American Girl! Barbie! We really leaned into this in 2023 and all I have to say is - it was about time!
THRIFTING
I have always loved hunting for treasures and feeling like I acquired something that was unique to me and no one else would have it. In 2023, though, I really embraced this as one of my favorite hobbies.

If you're into skincare, I highly recommend getting a mini fridge for your bathroom! You can get the one I have here - mine is pink.
COSRX SNAIL MUCIN SERUM
The single product that has made the biggest difference in my skin is this! Once you get past the fact that it's actual snail secretion that you're putting on your face, you can delight in the miracle that it works on your skin!
NASHVILLE AT THANKSGIVING
My family started a new tradition last year of traveling over Thanksgiving - 2022 was Charleston and 2023 was Nashville. This is such a fun kick-off to the holidays for us.

THE BARBIE MOVIE
As a self-professed girly girl, witnessing the hype and joy that surrounded this movie was a thrill. I have been a Barbie girl my whole life and to see everyone become Barbie girls, well, there's nothing better.
QUILTS/EVERYTHING QUILTED
In 2023, I really leaned into my Appalachian roots. I've always loved the culture and heritage of where I come from, but the older I get, the more I love it. So, here's to lots more quilted things in the new year!
