Influencers Made Me Buy It: Part One

A significant number of my recent purchases have come from the suggestion of Instagram and TikTok influencers - can you relate? Let's dive in!

For my first "influencers made me buy it" post I'm diving into beauty and skincare. I've really tried to curate the group of influencers that I trust and take advice from. Some of the products above I feel like are flying under the radar but the recommendation came from an influencer that I trust so I was like "let's try it!"

I haven't always been into TikTok, this is very recent for me. What I'm discovering, though, is the brutal honesty that influencers offer on that platform. Instagram would have you believe that Charlotte Tilbury is the be-all, end-all of beauty products, and TikTok is just not having it. If a product is trash, they will tell you - and I love that. They are going into the ingredient list of products and finding dupes for a fraction of the cost. Brilliant.

I've used all the products above except the L'Oreal True Match Lumi Foundation - which I'm trying tomorrow when I do my makeup for work. Do you all remember the Lumi Cushion Foundation? I LOVED that stuff and I'm hoping this is similar.
