Weekend Photo Diary // Vol. 5

Happy Monday, friends! School is officially out for summer. Our seniors graduated on Friday night and our underclassmen took their final exams. It's not even June yet! I'm excited for a nice, long break. Summer is always busy for me, but it's nice to have a couple of months to get recharged and inspired. This past weekend, I went out with one of my best friends shopping and indulging in Mexican food. I ended up finding some adorable things at Versona (including some gorgeous coral and turquoise tassel earrings) and Old Navy (all their dresses were 50% off!). Sunday was spent going to church, checking things off my Hulu watch-list, and enjoying the rain. Is it weird that sometimes I would much rather it be raining than sunny? Yes, just typing that sounded weird. I'll go ahead and leave you with some pictures. . .

Here's to a great week, y'all! xo

If you're looking for some perfect-for-everything swing dresses, Old Navy is the place to go. This one is from last summer, but they always carry very similar options season after season. Right now they have solid colors, stripes, and a really versatile off-the-shoulder swing dress that I picked up in two colors. These Jack Rogers Lauren sandals are one of my favorite purchases from last summer. Now I just need the blush pink ones!

Lori and I popped into the new Mercantile on State (Bristol, TN) on Saturday and spotted these adorable prints! The company is Monster No. 5 (based in Bristol, VA). Aren't these great? I think the mermaid one would be a perfect addition to my gallery wall.

I finally took the tags off this Free People dress and wore it to church Sunday. I've had this hanging in my closet for probably six months. It was rainy and dreary Sunday but still pleasant enough for bare legs. I love how seasonally diverse my FP pieces are - I can always count on being able to wear them year-round. (PS: This dress is currently on super sale!)

Let's all just stop and admire this beauty for a second. Have you ever seen peony blooms this big?! There's a hotel in Abingdon that has peony bushes planted all around the front lawn. I hit it just right on Saturday and was able to snap a few photos of them at peak bloom.
