Weekend Photo Diary // Vol. 2

Hi, friends! It's hard to believe that we're starting the last week of April. This month has absolutely flown by. I'm looking forward to shopping for colorful pots and flowers for my front porch and small patio soon! I found this blue adirondack chair at Target a few weeks ago - I think this watermelon pillow would be perfect with it. Did it rain nonstop over the weekend for y'all? It never stopped yesterday, and Saturday it was on and off all day long. April showers, right?

Below are some snapshots from my weekend. Here's to a great week ahead!

If you've been reading my blog for more than a year then you've seen this dress plenty of times. It's crazy to think that I had this on last Friday and yesterday the temperature didn't get above fifty degrees. Brrrrr. This dress is several years old from Asos, and every year I keep hoping they'll bring it back in more prints and colors.

Tassel. earring. dreams. I found these at Francesca's in Asheville a couple weeks ago. They're no longer available online, unfortunately. If they restock I'll be sure to share. If you can get to a local store, they're most likely on sale right now! I shared tons of tassels under $50 in a post last week!

I got the chance to do a couple of my students' hair and makeup for prom this weekend. You can just imagine how much I love doing this! You can shop the products above in the links below.

Both of the girls wanted half up/half down 'dos - they both ended up so differently, though! The look on the left included a headband that I twisted her hair around to create the "buns" in the back. The look on the right was created by French braiding both sides of her hair back and then joining them together in a single chunky braid. I love how both looks turned out. (FYI: Garnier Texture Tease is one of the best products ever for last-all-night hair styles!)

These two necklaces showed up last week from oNecklace and I can't wait to style them! I've featured oNecklace tons of times here and on my social media. The quality is amazing. You can shop these pieces here: Sterling Silver "Carrie" Name Necklace // Large Curly Monogram Necklace
