Happy Wednesday, gang! The first official day of fall is less than a month away, and I'm excited to say that I've gradually been adding to my collection of transition pieces. The cactus print kimono from this post being one of those items! Fall really is my favorite time of year and my favorite season of clothes. Sometimes it's complicated to get the balance just right, but it's fun to layer and combine unexpected prints and textures. I've rounded up quite a few pieces (lots from Free People!) that I think are perfect for transitioning into the cooler temperatures. And you certainly don't have to stick strictly with these, be inspired and get creative building your own fall wardrobe!

Adore #5 and those Kendra Scott pieces -- love her unique choices in stones!! It's still eighty billion degrees in Nashville so I have to pine for the days when I can start wearing transitional clothes... in the meantime, I'll paint my toes a deep berry and call it a day! :)
I've been completely in love with lace up flats lately! Great picks for this post, and I love your blog!
