I'm excited to have a fellow VA/DC Southern Blog Society blogger featured in my Let's Go There series today! I connected with Ashlyn of Let It Be Beautiful about a year ago and have loved following her beautiful blog and seeing her design business grow. She captures the most perfect life moments and has a lovely, classic style that she brings to life on her blog.

Ashlyn and her family have been in Duck, North Carolina for the last week enjoying some family time, relaxation, and for Ashlyn, quality time with her better half. This is what she had to say about packing for her vacation. . .

"I absolutely hate packing. I get so much anxiety the days/week leading up to it that I have to start a week or so in advance (or I pack my entire closet and I freak out!). My suggestion is to make a list of what you need/want to take and over the week prior to leaving add the desired items. Go over your check list daily so that you can add and subtract items you didn't think about taking or ones that you no longer think you need. It works for me every time (when I actually put this technique to good use!)."
