Welcome back from the weekend, friends! In addition to celebrating homecoming last week, I experienced another rite of passage at my new school on Saturday night - chaperoning the homecoming dance. I have to say, some things don't change - songs that I danced to in high school were played, teachers broke up teenagers making out, and girls wore sparkly everything and made sure their dates matched them to a T. It was fun and amusing and gave me a great excuse to get dressed up. Have I mentioned how much I love my job?!
Ok, about the outfit - this dress is one of my favorite transitioning pieces. It's rich color,
seasonal fabric, and three-quarter sleeves make it perfect for the
chilly temperatures that are becoming an everyday experience. It also
pairs great with tights, a scarf, and boots for a more casual look. Now, I just need to add some more lace to my closet!
