As you know, I am a huge supporter of small businesses. So when Cindy, owner of the Etsy shop Shimmer Polish, contacted me about featuring her homemade polishes I was quick to say yes. Another thing you all know about me is I'm a nail polish fiend, and her glitter polishes are some of the prettiest I have ever come across. Her customers certainly agree. Aside from being overwhelmed with the options, I couldn't help but fall in love with the packaging, too. Perfectly simple and chic - they look lovely on my vanity and my fingertips!
These bottles are packed with sparkle. In the past, most glitter polishes I've used only leave a few flecks of sparkle with a single swipe. Therefore, you have to layer and layer the polish to get the desired effect. That is not the case with Cindy's polishes. One coat covers your nails completely. I used one coat of OPI Cajun Shrimp as a base color and two coats of Karina on top. I love how they turned out!
