Picnics are something I don't partake in enough. Not because I don't like them, just because I never make a plan for them. In this month's Matchbook (page 50), there's a guide for the perfect picnic - I'm thinking I need to revisit the article. And after seeing some of the gorgeous images from the 6th Annual Jazz Age Lawn Party on Governor's Island last weekend, I have even more confirmation that picnics can (and should!) be glamorous. Glamorous = a ban.do flower is in order!

I did a little bit about having a picnic not long ago! Unfortunately it's too hot already in Texas to be outside much longer than twenty minutes, but I sure would love to pack a delicious lunch and head to the park!
