Birds of a (Pink) Feather

(Images via 1, 2, 3)

Good morning, friends!

Maybe I should've saved all these beautiful, pink flamingo images for tomorrow's Semi-Wordless Wednesday, but I just couldn't resist! Aren't they gorgeous? They're packing the perfect punch for this steamy June day (high of 91 here today!). Especially that adorable bride and groom and the Mrs. Flamingo cocktail from Mrs. Lilien! Flamingos are my favorite animal (followed closely by elephants). They're pink, elegant, and a little quirky- the perfect combination, in my opinion!

The title of this post is also referring to a fabulous collaboration that's happening this week! The lovely ladies from mal & criss contacted me about guest posting for them, and I couldn't be happier! I've mentioned these two gorgeous girls before and how much I adore them. This collaboration has me over the moon!

Wishing each of you a wonderfully bright day!

  9. Oooh how I love this post! Bryan calls me a flamingo becuase I frequently stand with one leg cocked up when I am busy in the kitchen. Apparently I was doing it this weekend while girls were getting their hair fixed for the wedding I was in, when someone told me I looked like a flamingo! That drink looks delish!

  11. Julie,

First of all I <3 your blog. Your posts are always so lovely to read.

I have been in love with Flamingos since I saw them in "the wild" in Bonaire last year. I was so mesmerized by them. (Hope I spelled that right!) Their color is soooo amazing. They made the trip from Venezuela to feed in Bonaire. I will never forget that beautiful sight!

I hope it cools down for you. I live in Oregon and the high's have been in the upper 60's, low 70's. We are anxious for summer to arrive!

I'm drinking a margarita right now, but I think I need to run to the store and grab some rum.
