Hi, dolls!
After my post on Monday which featured the new arrangement of some of my favorite scents, I was inspired to do a post dedicated exclusively to some scents that I'm coveting and loving right now. I think it can sometimes be overwhelming to shop for that perfect scent, and believe me I've purchased some pretty lack-luster smells in my time. I think it's important to think about what works for you, not necessarily what's popular at the time. I recommend experimenting with scents, try something that you wouldn't normally be attracted to, and own it. Perfume can change my mood (and attitude!) with one little spritz!

Honey friend, find a SAKS and smell Jimmy Choo! The Mr got me some when we were in NYC. (I think that's the only place selling right now,so I was told) LAWDY MERCY! yummmmmmmmmmy

My favorite perfume is Coach Poppy! I use it everyday! I get tons of compliments and inquiries on what perfume I use!

With some Mother's Day money, I bought a fragrance I've never had before, but one sniff jolted me so much I had to have it: Chanel Chance Eau Tendre. It has just the right mix of floral and sophistication. I'm LOVING it!

the miss dior is amazing! i love the smell of it :) its musky & a bit floral but not overwhelming
ReplyDeleteDior Miss Dior Cherie is amazing! Mr. Man gave it to me for Valentine's Day. Love it. My daughter received Coach Poppy for Christmas and it smells incredibly sweet on her. Perfect choice. Two you didn't include here, am a huge fan of is Chanel Madmoiselle, and Angel.

Bobbi Brown Bath is my signature scent..it is very "soap & water clean"...it's subtly sexy, which is perfect for everyday. You should check it out!
My all-time favorite is Chanel Chance. Recently though, I wear Bond No. 9 Andy Warhol Union Square more frequently. I grew up with a mom who loves great frangrances, so love trying new ones!

Ahhhh! I just caught my first whiff of Twirl the other day and Im so so in love!! Great selections!
ReplyDeleteI fond most perfumes smell too much of alcohol or something. Just a very synthetic scent usually. I prefer fruity scents, like Yves Rocher's Plaisirs Nature line. And my absolute all-time favorite perfume is Lolita Lempicka's L. I get so many compliments when I wear it! Just a whiff of it makes me happy. Gotta love the power of perfume, right?!

One of my fave summer fragrance is Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess, oh so summery!

Hi sweets ... I love to go perfume shopping!! I really like Sephora because they have those strips you can spray without a department store clerk having to wait on you AND they'll put a sample of any scent in a little tester for you!! I've done that quite a few times! Happy Wednesday, love!

Fabulous post, Julie! I've tried the Coach perfume before and really love it. I'll have to try some of these others, too. My go-to scent is Brighton Laugh. :)

ReplyDeleteI love Lola by Marc Jacobs ... I wore that last year ... my fabulous Grandma buys me perfume every year ... this year's is Poppy by Coach and I simply ADORE it! You should try it!
