The Beautiful Talent of Jamie Beck

Jamie Beck, the amazing talent behind the photography blog From Me To You, has created one of the most unique and beautiful sources of inspiration anyone could ask for. Remember this post I did spotlighting her time inside New York Fashion Week as part of the Tumblr blogging project? I've made it no secret that I adore Jamie's work and think she's a talent unlike any other.

Just when I thought I couldn't be any more smitten with her work, she started posting these mesmerizing images known as 'cinemagraphs.' Jamie, in collaboration with Kevin Burg, creates these amazing GIFs (or moving pictures) that one could get lost in for days. They first established these creations during fashion week and have significantly expanded their portfolio since. This image entitled 'Anna Sees Everything' is one of the first in Jamie and Kevin's collection.

Isn't it just breathtaking? You can read this article from The Atlantic to better understand the process of creating these cinemagraphs. I'm incredibly fascinated by it, aren't you? For now, here are a few of Jamie's recent creations that I'm loving.

The following images that Jamie shot of model Coco Rocha have taken the web by storm. These few were my favorites.

These are so mesmerizing! I saw someone comment on Twitter that they are like real-life Harry Potter (as in, the pictures in the wizard world move)--I think that's such a perfect way to describe them, at least for an HP nerd like me :)
