I've been head over heels for Carrie and Big's apartment that made it's debut in Sex and the City 2 for some time now. I didn't do a feature on it at the time but snatched up every image I could find and planned to save them for later use. Sure, the hype of the movie is nearly a year old, but this apartment is still an absolute dream in my book!

Thank you SOOO much for this posting. Since I've seen the movie I feel completely in love with their apartment and forgot until now. It has amazing rich colors and patterns but still has the modern feel. I would live there for sure. Have a wonderful day! xx

ReplyDeleteYup, I ADORE it too. I have a sample of that Katie Ridder wallpaper and I just LOVE it. Still hoping to find a place in my house for it. I also j'adore that blue velvet sofa, the brass accents everywhere, those dreamy silk/pom pom drapes in the bedroom, the blue poof, the Lindsay Aldeman glass ball light...pretty much all of it.

ReplyDeleteI've had a photo of their bedroom in my files for ages now as I loved the curtains! I wanted to get something similar for one of the rooms in my house :O)

ReplyDeleteI still have yet to see Sex and City 2. I think I might have to move that up on my Netflix queue. These are great shots. I love that secretary hutch in the bedroom. I'm currently on the hunt for something just as wonderful for my bedroom.

I do adore this apartment, especially the his & hers closet! I did think this looked so much more "grown-up" than Carrie's apartment, and I was yearning for a quirk or two. ;)
