Fashion Dream Come True

 (via)
You know my life has been consumed with fashion for the past couple of weeks. Today is no different. As promised, I want to share some of my favorite Oscar de la Renta looks from his show during New York Fashion week.

Never in my life have clothes moved me the way these did. The music, the fashions, the prints it was all too much. Never, ever tell me 'they're just clothes.'

Enjoy!

  10. The tangerine one-shoulder is an absolute show stopper. How did anyone else even walk the runway after that?! Oscar and Michael (Kors, of course) are my hands-down favorite designers.

    Swooooooon......

  13. Okay, first of all...before I forget because I am blinded by fashion at the current moment...my playlist was inspired by you.

I had about 5 favorites....so, in no particular order...

    The Pantsuits...swoon.
    That red/white striped number...wow!
The white lace dress with black tie sash....holy guac!
And then to put a cotton ball on that sweet dress....dreams!!!
That coral bow on the butt, strut your stuff dress....I would die for it.
(Okay so it was actually six...)
I adore that pink lacey number. With the pink bow on the shoulder. **le sigh**

  15. It usually seems as though the clothes on the runway are so "out there" that I normally am not a fan. I LOVED these!
    Have a pretty day!

  18. Oooh! they are all so gorgeous.
I love the second image and the black and white number with the furry skirt; love it, but could never wear it (I would end up looking more like a walking snowman!)
Oscar de la Renta makes clothes for "real" women (just my humble opinion).

  20. Hi Julie!

    How have you been, friend?

You have swept me away into Oscar's world today! Oh my how to pick just one favorite?? I've never seen such a beautiful collection - sophisticated, feminine and just the right amount of 60's chic.

I think I'm in love with the khaki embroidered trench, but then the pink and green (pink and green!!) number comes up...

But wait! The aqua jumpsuit with that amazing jacket!! And then the black and white strapless dress with the cloud puff skirt?? That is so Carrie!! I think it's the the black and white for the win. But don't hold me to it!

    xoxo,
    Carrie
