It's Friday. I'm in Love.

(via Summer B)

Happy Friday, everyone!

Wow, this week really flew by! Maybe it's because I was so busy getting back in the swing of things at work. I don't know, but the weekend is right around the corner, and it's time to celebrate!

Please grab the button above and join in on Summer B's blog party!

Here's what I'm loving today!

1. This sweet lady received her package of my 'favorite things!' She wrote the sweetest little comments about me. Thank you, doll!

2. Daphne is hosting a fabulous 'Preppy Christmas Swap!' Head on over and sign up if you're interested! I can't wait, lady!

3. Totally unrelated photos, however, they both come from my Sum Sum and they make me happy!

I had never considered this until she posted it on her blog. Now I have an irrational fear!

She and Mr. Brown just got back from the Bahamas. They had a recommitment ceremony while they were there. She knows how much I adore this photo.

4. I'm still obsessing over the Lilly store at KoP Mall in PA. I'll be obsessing until I get to see it for myself.

5. Yesterday I got really excited when this lady suggested that Trishy and I come to New Orleans. Jen, you get moved and settled and I will be there in a heartbeat! I'm missing Nola something awful!

6. These are my favorite pictures from Pink & Green Thursday!

from Trishy

from Emily

from Ashley

from Pink Champagne

from Georgia

from Meli Faif

7. Yesterday was my sweet Lacey's birthday! If you haven't sent her wishes go on over and do it now!

8. I love this photo that Simone posted last night. I had forgotten about the SJP photos with the red balloons!

9. Some favorite Etsy finds from this week!

L. Whelan Designs

Cutiepie Company

10. Last but certainly not least, I am planning a blog meet up with two of my favorite ladies and fellow Virginia gals- T of Desperately Seeking Seersucker and Mrs. MFC! Can you imagine the fun?? I will keep you all posted!

I want to thank you all again for your prayers and thoughts for my aunt. She is having her surgery today, double mastectomy. We would greatly appreciate your love and support again. Hopefully everything will go well and she can start her treatments.

Thank you so much, loves!

Have a happy Friday, everyone!

I posted some BIG news today at my little blog! Here's a hint - I might just have the perfect place for you and Trishy to stay when you make that trip down to New Orleans!

Maybe early December? We could go caroling in Jackson Square and take a tour of the FQ courtyards and shop on Magazine St!!!

Julie! Happy, happy Friday to you! I have been swamped at work for the past week and a half and actually kept thinking about you and thinking that I was sad to not have been commenting on your blog this week. I always love reading what you have to say. Your optimism and happiness is contagious, and it continues to inspire me to remember to be happy for each moment. I am sending love, prayers, and positive thoughts your aunt's way. Please keep us posted.

I hope you have a gorgeous weekend!! xoxo

Love all of the pictures and inspirations you chose!

Thinking of your aunt and sending positive vibes for a speedy recovery. My mom had a double mastectomy when I was in high school it is a painful surgery that takes time to recover from. Not to mention that even when you're super prepared and accept that it's what you have to do to live, it's still really hard when you wake up and it's over.

*hugs* for you and your aunt...

Oh NOLA...I miss it so!! I've been telling Mr. Potts for a year now that I need to get back there. We haven't been since one of my besties got married in July 2008 (yes, July in New Orleans).

The pictures from P&G T are wonderful & seeing the balloons makes me think of Lisa.
