Yes, you read that right! But, no, I'm not really getting married. Remember, people I'm single and ready to mingle :) Ok, for real, I'm taking part in sweet Miss Kelsey's Wishful Wednesday! For any of you who have been reading my blog for a while, you know how much I love weddings!! So, when Kelsey posted this week's topic I could not resist!

I wish I could wear this gorgeous Maggie Sottero dress on my wedding day!
Actually, I'm pretty certain this will be the dress I wear! I am obsessed with this dress! I love the one shoulder, the flowers, the flower/feather in her hair!! For me, when it comes to my wedding dress, I think less is more. I want a simple, yet stunning, gown that doesn't overwhelm me. I found this dress last year when I was browsing the website and have loved and drooled over it ever since!

Now, THAT is a dress! IT looks similar (but much more elegant, of course!!!) in shape to the dress that my DD bought for prom...oh, and hers isn't white LOL.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if I will ever love weddings less. I have loved them forever and can't wait until I get to experience it again with my dd. She and I spend lots of time looking at photos of weddings all the time (maybe we are a bit obsessed??).
My friend tried this dress on! It was really pretty, but didn't look quite like it did on the model on her. I guess because it was a few sizes too big for her, the flower detail looked like it was completely cupping and holding up her boobs. Strangeness. Now that I see it on the model, it would prob. look much better on her in her size! & I can totally see you rocking this bad boy. :) Maybe I'll play too? I don't know, check in on me later and see! love you, lady cakes!
