My Favorite Beauty Products of 2017

I wanted to pop in today and share my favorite beauty products from last year. It was pretty easy (surprisingly) to narrow it down to these ten. These are the ones that really stood out in my mind as quality products that I'll keep repurchasing. These were all new discoveries in 2017 except the Benefit mascara. Lucky for you, most of the products that made my list are incredibly affordable! I'm always going to mix high end and low end beauty products, but this year it seemed like the less expensive options stole the show. If you want to keep up with what I'm testing out or purchasing when it comes to beauty products, make sure to follow along on instagram because I'm constantly doing haul videos and reviews over there! Maybe this will be the year I launch a Youtube channel!

Check out the links and the reasons why I love these products below!

I never found another eyeshadow blending brush last year that I loved more than this one. I actually purchased four or five of them after I saw how amazing they were! These will blend your shadow to perfection without sacrificing pigment or giving you a lot of fall out on your face. You can luck up sometimes and find them at Dollar Tree or purchase them from the Wet N Wild site.

The price on this has actually gone up since I started using it a few months ago - it was $5 then. Tons of beauty Youtubers rave about it so I guess the company has upped the price. Regardless, this is the best setting powder I've found. It works flawlessly with the Tarte Shape Tape Concealer for concealing your under-eye. And if you want your face to be matte, then this will do the trick.

One of the most significant beauty discoveries I made in 2017 was gel moisturizer. It will seriously change your make up game. I haven't used an oil-based cream moisturizer under my makeup since I purchased this gel from Garnier. There are lots of gel options out there, but this one proved to do the job (really well!) and it's under $10.

This lip gloss has just enough of a minty bite to make your lips a little tingly but not so much that it's uncomfortable. It isn't too sticky either. This color is my favorite swiped over my go-to nude lipstick (see number five!).

My favorite nude lipstick ever! Whenever you see me wearing a nude lip (like in this photo), this is the color I'm wearing. This lipstick is very creamy and matte so I always wear a gloss over it.

I've always worn Estee Lauder foundation, but in 2017 I ventured out and tested some drugstore options. This Maybelline foundation won hands down and I've been wearing it nonstop! It's a natural-to-medium coverage that's buildable. It's definitely matte and has a blurring effect on the skin.

Yes, this product completely lives up to the hype and is definitely worth the money. I haven't found a concealer yet that tops this one. It's very creamy, offers seriously full coverage, and plays well with other products. It blends out flawlessly and doesn't melt down throughout the day.

Another product that is worth the money! I got this palette back in July and haven't used another palette since. I'll grab other palettes to go with this one, but there are always colors from this palette on my lids. I've never used shadows more pigmented and blendable than these.

I've experimented with quite a few mascaras this year and nothing compares to this one. People always ask if I'm wearing false lashes when I have on this mascara. It's seriously that good. It never gets clumpy no matter how many layers you do.

The sharp edge on this sponge makes it perfect for highlighting, contouring, and setting your under eye. It's great for packing on power for baking but also works well for blending out cream products. It's super soft and obviously a steal at under $10.

I'm a HUGE fan of that foundation! I was using Benefit foundation and it just didn't have the coverage I wanted. Tried a couple of others, bought this on a whim - SO GOOD.
