I'm so excited about sharing this post with y'all today! There is no brand collaboration that makes more sense for a blogger than teeth whitening! Y'all know I'm telling the truth. When you're taking as many photos as we do, it's a perfect fit! So when Smile Brilliant reached out to me to try their system, I was like "YES YES YES!" I've done teeth whitening in the past but ended up with extreme sensitivity and it had been quite a while since I'd done it. What sold me on collaborating with Smile Brilliant was the fact that the company was founded by dental professionals (they know the science behind safely whitening your teeth), the crazy good reviews (seriously, everyone who uses this system loves it), and the before and after photos (the results of some users is just amazing!).
For the last several weeks I have been using the Smile Brilliant and have loved it! I was nervous at first considering my previous whitening experience (hello, Crest White Strips), but once I got started it was a dream. This system uses custom trays (that you create from a paste and mail back to the company) that you fill with the whitening gel and wear for up to 3 hours (depending on your level of sensitivity). Then, you use the desensitizing gel and wear the trays for another 20 minutes. The trays are created from your molds so they're a perfect fit around your teeth. I know that may sound like a process, but once you get in the swing of doing it, it's just another part of your routine. A couple of times, I've worn the trays while I get ready for work in the morning.
So far while using the system I've experienced very little sensitivity and the results have been noticeable. My teeth were fairly white before, so at first I thought, "I'm not sure anyone is going to be able to tell a difference." Apparently teeth can always be whiter! I've included my before and after photos below. I took it slowly with how often I used the trays and for the length of time, and I can still see a difference.
