Life Lately: Baby Shower

Happy Thursday, friends. As I've mentioned, last weekend I hosted a baby shower brunch at my house for one of my friends who is about to welcome a new baby boy into her family. So many people are having boys right now! I wanted to pop in today and share some photos that I snapped on Saturday as the shower was getting started. We had the most delicious menu, the decorations turned out perfectly, and fresh flowers were the perfect finishing touch.

The paper lanterns, tassel garland, and DIY bunting banner were all purchased at Target. I tried to find the products online but had no luck. They were all purchased recently so I'm sure they're still in store. I attached the cluster of tissue poms and paper lanterns to the blades of my ceiling fan using Scotch tape - I love the way they look! I used an assortment of mason jars and long-neck bottles for the flower arrangements - tulips, hyacinth and alstromeria made a perfect combination. I sent these invitations from TinyPrints and worked around that color scheme of various blues and touches of green. I hope you enjoy the photos!

(Try adding fresh mint to your flower arrangements for a little added fragrance.)
