How was the weekend, friends? I spent Saturday being completely lazy (and binge-watching season one of Bates Motel) until about 2 pm when I managed some motivation to clean the house - long overdue, lemme tell ya. Yesterday was dreary and rainy all day - perfect for church and a Target run. Overall, nothing incredibly exciting. This week has the potential to be super busy so I'm thankful for the last couple days to really unwind.
I'm excited to be teaming back up with Kohl's today (see our previous collaboration here) to participate in their #DenimStyleChallenge featuring Rock & Republic jeans. I had to create a casual (daytime) and dressy (nighttime) look around the same pair of jeans with other pieces also purchased at Kohl's. For the casual look I opted for an oversized sweater and flats. Of course, I jazzed it up a bit with a printed bag and fun jewelry. I love the distressed and cuff details of these jeans - I stepped outside my comfort zone just a bit when I went with this style.
