Monthly Muse: October

Everything I love about fall is in full swing come October. Pumpkin-flavored everything, fall decorations (see mine here and here), layering clothes, and indulging in all things warm and cozy. This past weekend I shopped for pumpkins and mums and realized just how happy this time of year makes me. I love springtime with its promise of summer, but there's something about fall that means instant happiness - scents and flavors that can only signify one season. F. Scott Fitzgerald said it best, "Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall." - The Great Gatsby
