My Style: A Princess Skirt

(All photos by my friend Ashley)

Every girl needs a princess skirt, right? A skirt that makes her want to twirl around and wear fancy heels and sparkly jewelry. That's just how this tulle skirt makes me feel! I have been wanting a skirt like this for quite some time. No, it's not incredibly practical, but for certain events, it's perfect. I paired it with this pink ombre blouse (that I've had forever) and my new gold Etta pumps that I scored at the warehouse sale. We went back to our alma mater to take these photos. It really couldn't have been a more perfect day.

Skirt, c/o SHABBY APPLE // Blouse, KAREN KANE (old) // Heels, J. CREW Etta (scored at the warehouse sale)
Necklace, J. CREW // Sunglasses, D&G c/o SUNGLASSES SHOP // Polish, c/o MARY JO

I'm really excited to team up with Shabby Apple to bring you another giveaway! Shabby Apple specializes in retro and vintage dresses, skirts, swimwear, shoes, and accessories. (You can get 20% off their site right now with code summersale). They're graciously offering a Julie Leah reader a $75 gift card to their shop! Follow the steps below to enter, good luck!

I just love that rather than give this skirt a tougher spin you just went all out with pink, sparkle, and gold heels to boot!

What a fantastic skirt. Reminds me of the tulle skirt Carrie Bradshaw wears in the opening of Sex and the City. I want one in my closet!
