Inspiration and Time

Hello! How are you my dears? Would you believe it if I told you it's snowing here? Yup, old man winter has sneaked back up on me again. Darn him!

You all know I'm longing for spring (summer preferably) so today I'm going to share some inspiration photos. Just some pics that are lifting me up today :)

Update from yesterday's challenge:
I really had to stop and think yesterday. I didn't realize how often negativity fills my mind. It was even harder because I was trying to be so positive about everyone. That's difficult, let me tell ya. Feeling good about myself is usually always difficult in January and February. I'm pasty white, I feel like my clothes are boring, not to mention I feel like nothing looks as good as it could if I had a little color to my skin. Overall, yesterday was a test. I'm trying the 'no negativity' again today. I just feel like I need a repeat.

Today is day 5.....

Day 5:
Imagine all the things we could get done if we didn't have social media....
for example:  Facebook & Twitter.
Let's try it out and see just what happens when we take a break for 24 hours.
Take notes on what you accomplish in the time not wasted.

(I'm not wasting a minute today)

How are you spending your day?

I love that you're trying to be more positive. It's definitely something I try and focus on but often feel myself slip to the more 'glass half empty' mentality. A constant struggle I suppose!

I think this winter weather is God giving me a trial of patience...I'm SO ready for warm weather too!

I unplugged yesterday and actually go a LOT done (esp. spending "quality" time with my children), but I have to admit it was a little harder than I thought. Only once they were in bed did I hop on the computer for a tiny fix. Everything in moderation, right?!

ugh, staying positive when its so gloomy outside is def a challenge!

I am longing for warmer weather as well!

plus the amount of snow we have had in baltimore has killed many of my bushes, UGH!

Well, now that you mention it, I am spending it wasting away at work :) Daydreaming of baby fingers and toes and tickling them, nuzzling his or her neck and wishing it were warm outside. Its even cold for Florida.

Oh now I feel a little guilty because I am kind of "wasting time" on the internet! I guess I should get back to being productive!
Hope your staying warm in the snow!

If I might make a suggestion....maybe change your No Negativity frame of mind to All Positivity :O) Everything starts with a thought and our language is so important to how we live our lives. Working on being more positive while giving your project a negative title seems counter-productive.

So true,,,social media 'tools' suck sooo much time from our day! Though I admittedly am a Facebook addict. Positive thinking ain't easy either...I commend you on trying to sort through the negativity life throws us in a day while trying to remain focused on the good 'stuff'. I like your thinking!!

Boy, did I love looking at those pictures! I saw the first one and said "Ooooh, THAT'S my favorite!" Then I scrolled down to the next, then the next, and kept saying "OK, now THAT's DEFINITELY my favorite!" In short, I loved them ALL! Thanks so much for posting them, and for your thoughtful words that followed!

I'm not going to waste a minute of today, either! Cheers!
